Israel has sabotaged all life in Palestine. Not only has Palestinian land been stolen, but their water, which is the essence of life, has also been stolen. In the colonized West Bank region, 85% of water is reserved for illegal Israeli settlers. Only 15% can be enjoyed by Palestinian residents, that too by buying it. Ironically, at a time when Palestinian residents are experiencing a water crisis, Israeli settlers enjoy the abundance of water that is not only used for consumption, but also for filling up swimming pools, cleaning vehicles, and agriculture.1 95% of water in Gaza is contaminated with seawater and sewage. This is due to the exploitation of groundwater by Israel, causing the supply in Gaza to be refilled by seawater and polluted by sewage.
